I’m Kathleen — founder, cleaner, administrator, and the maker behind every product.

Before A Clean Sweep, I was a single mom in corporate America chasing the so-called “dream job.” I finally landed it — and I was still at poverty level. We're talking food insecure, in a constant state of stress about how we'd make it through each month.

​

Then I got laid off. It was the most terrifying moment in my adulthood… and exactly what I needed. The kind of moment that shakes you awake and forces you to rebuild from truth, not fear. I never quite fit into the corporate "norms" and I was made for much more than I could give to any one job. It was time to pour into me.

I started cleaning homes to survive. And I loved it. I realized after struggling to find quality products, cleaning itself wasn’t the problem this industry faces — the products were. Everything on the shelf was harsh, left residue, and full of chemical filler. So I started making my own using blends of therapeutic grade essential oils and other simple ingredients. And almost eight years later, I'm still cleaning professionally with those same products!

I believe cleaning is a ritual, not a chore. Each product is hand-crafted with pure essential oils that invigorate the senses while delivering a real, high-performance clean. The power of essential oils is real — they cut grease, disinfect, and wake up your senses while they do it. I use them in every home I clean — and I wouldn’t use anything else.
